Mountain Biking in Puijo

The first mountain biking route in Kuopio is marked in Puijo area.
Puijo’s mountain biking route runs through the entire hill of Puijo in stunning sceneries. The route is quite challenging due to the altitude variations. The route is also suitable for winter biking.

The route is about 10 km and the best starting points are Puijo baseball arena, Puijo Tower and the mark stone of Puijonsarvi. For the resting place you can choose Puijo Tower or Puijonnokka lean-to with a fireplace. The route is used by hikers as well, please consider other users.
